I have tried contacting this company, left 7 emails and 4 messages and they do not return calls. Their food has been out and reordered by my grocer since October. I have been a customer for almost TEN years and this is NO WAY to run an organization. A simple "we are out of business" would suffice! If you are not going to answer emails or messages, why take them.
She has been enjoying Premium Feast for many months. For the past 2 months, she totally ignores it. She and I don't smell any beef odor any longer. Cats are sensitive and their nose tells them everything. Dogs, on the other hand eat what's in front of them. I'm very disappointed in this development. I think Petguard has the best ingredients necessary for cats to be healthy. I wrote about this several months ago, and the company denied any changes in the food. The cat knows.
I would absolutely recommend this dog food to a friend because my dog enjoys eating it, and it's affordable for me. Also, it tastes great to my dog and smells good to him and me. The texture is great and is fun for my dog too.
The dog food is natural and has better ingredients than other dog foods and dogs will be healthier if they eat this dog food. It can be hard to find this dog food in some stores though. They should make the dog food available in more stores where people shop such as big box stores and supermarkets. But the dog seems to enjoy the food and he is happy after eating it.
I'm happy to switch brands. I came across this brand on a blog I follow. Petguard Pet Food is a healthy and more natural food product for my dogs and they love it way more than their previous food. The only thing that I do not like about this brand of dog food is that it is not available at a local store and so I always have to plan ahead to make sure to have it on hand as to not run out.
My dog enjoys Petguard Pet Food. It's good for dogs and it's important for them to get healthy. I like that it has the good flavors, like chicken and some beef, but it also has bad flavors. Usually, they throw up for eating some of those ones that has bad flavors. The smell is almost kinda like dog food but the texture is like cat food.
I loved Petguard for my dog more than anything and it good to know I can protect my dog from all the harmful chemicals in other types of dog food. I liked the texture and the ingredients were much healthy and not processed food that should not be consumed by my furry adorable best friend. I hope my dog foods were like this and make our dogs more happier and their belly more fuller.
The packaging is easy to serve my dog and I like the way the dog food is made... It's soft, moist and chewable for my dog to eat. She enjoys eating it and always eats all her food when I serve it to her. My dog is happy, healthy and playful and loves a variety of food to choose when she eats. Hope they make a variety of it available to choose from. Other than that I recommend it to your dog cause it won't be so hard on the teeth for him/her to eat.
The company specializes in organic canned foods that contain no artificial products, added sugars or salts. Each of their dinners gets uniquely formulated with the correct balance of protein, fat, and carbohydrates.
The story of Petguard starts in 1979 with a woman by the name of Sharon Sherman. She grew up in a home where they always fed their dogs a natural homemade food that they cooked from scratch. At an early age, she realized the importance of feeding your pet high-quality, human-grade ingredients.
Before the fads of organic and all-natural entered the marketplace, this family was running a Natural Foods Grocery store where they educated their customers about the importance of organic ingredients and nutrition.
Petguard began creating wholesome, natural foods with the best ingredients and their formulas have remained the same as the years went on. Petguard is dedicated to the complete health of a pet and designing food that appeals to every pup.

The formula has 4.8 out of 5 stars on Chewy with a 97% recommendation, so that speaks for itself. If you are looking to switch to something healthier and more wholesome, we recommend trying this food.

When it came time to test the products, our test cats were more than happy to oblige. They took to both the canned food and dry food recipes. This was a little surprising given most of the canned foods had a pate-like texture and our cats tend to prefer recipes with broth or gravy.

#2 PetGuard Savory Seafood Dinner Canned Food
Aside from being organic, what sets this recipe apart from other PetGuard canned foods is the use of fresh fruits and veggies as natural sources for key nutrients. That being said, the product still has a long list of synthetic supplements like the others.
Most commercial pet food brands use synthetic vitamins and minerals to meet AAFCO standards for nutritional adequacy. When the list is as long as it is for PetGuard foods, however, it leads us to wonder about the quality of the ingredients and whether their nutritional integrity might have been compromised during cooking.
This was my absolute favorite brand and go to food. I have been buying the organic chicken and vege can catfood for my cats, gosh, since 2002. I am heart-broken they are out of business now, filed bankruptcy. It is now no longer available and I have not yet found anything comparable to quality, price, and reputation that this company had. My cats loved their food. I am at a loss.
Grass - When dogs eat grass, it does not necessarily mean they are feeling ill. Yes, dogs will eat grass if they want to induce vomiting if they are feeling unwell, but it could indicate that they are lacking certain vitamins and minerals, are bored or simply enjoy the taste. If your dog is ignoring his food and just eating grass, then you must take them to the vet. 041b061a72
